As the world turns

Some questions occur repeatedly as we go about our lives. Some of them are:

  • Why is your queue always the one that takes the longest?
  • Why does technology malfunction when you need it most?
  • When you search valiantly and in vain for something, why does it pop up as soon as you give up looking for it?
  • Why, when you do assignments, work, etc. , does it seem like that anything BUT the task at hand is interesting?
The last point is particularly relevant. Say something is due tommorrow (or the day after). You strive to finish, but ALAS, like all homework plans they are destined to fail! Many other things capture your attention, things that if you had time you wouldn't have the remotest intention of doing, like surfing the net for pictures of comb binders or whatever. Ironically, by doing this it probably means there is no time after finishing work to muck around.

That is enough from me today.

  1. In reference to the third dotpoint, the things also turn up aeons later when their relevance is completely gone. E.g. you need a tool (you! haha, jedi knight) and you can't find it so you improvise, but then later it's back.

  2. Other relevant contemplations:
-It doesn't rain whenever u have your umbrella with you, yet it just so happens to rain on the day you forget it? [Insert other items like that]

    - Driving related: Why does the lane you change into suddenly slow down/stop, and the lane you were in just speeds off into the distance?

oh the wonders of murphys laws...
